Osasuna Calls 22 Players for Season Finale Against Getafe
The Team Trained at El Sadar
Club Atlético Osasuna returned to training Tuesday morning to begin preparations for Saturday’s match against Real Madrid at El Sadar. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CET (5:30 p.m. GMT, 12:30 p.m. ET). The team practiced at El Sadar behind closed doors to allow the Tajonar Sports Complex fields to recover from inclement weather that impacted the Osasuna Femenino and Promesas matches. Head coach Alessio Lisci led a session focusing on possession, set pieces, attack-defense drills and small-sided games.
Forward Iker Benito continues to recover from an ACL injury, while defender Enzo Boyomo was sidelined after suffering an injury against Celta. Defender Iñigo Arguibide and midfielder Asier Osambela were also absent after playing Sunday with the affiliate side against Unionistas. Forward Víctor Muñoz participated in training with a lighter workload. Goalkeeper Dimitrios Stamatakis; defenders Alex Jiménez and Kepa Sarango; midfielder Ibai Arrasate; and forward Asier Bonel joined the first team from Osasuna Promesas.
The team will train at El Sadar on Wednesday behind closed doors. Thursday’s session will be partially open, with gates opening at 11:20 a.m. Friday’s session will be open to the public at 11 a.m.
